At Comberton Primary School, we endeavour to develop and extend home-school partnerships by providing support, guidance and advice when required. My name is Mrs Grimsley and I am the school’s Well-being Lead. Initial concerns or support can be shared to your child's class teacher or, if you would prefer to talk to me, then I am happy to help with any concerns you have with regards to your children or your family.
To help your family with any arising difficulties that you may be facing at home or in school, such as children’s behaviour, emotional stress, worry/anxiety, family breakdown, staying safe online, family routines, anything else you feel you may need advice on or I help can signpost you to the relevant people. I will be working with children to develop their own well-being by working collaboratively with parents/carers, school staff and external agencies where needed.
I work Monday to Friday, if you wish to talk to me then you are welcome to drop in to the school or call in advance to make an appointment. Feel free to bring younger siblings along to meetings as well, as they are always welcome. Please continue to discuss any concerns with your child’s class teacher. However, they may suggest you come and talk to me if they think it might be helpful. I am available to the children at any time during their school day, should they feel in need of my support.
