Every year, in the summer term, the school is abuzz with excitement as we prepare for our next big performance. Key Stage Two work incredibly hard to put on an outstanding, all singing, all dancing show at the Rose Theatre in Kidderminster.
Choreographers teach the children sequences which extend and challenge them during a week of workshops. It's then all down to the class teachers and pupils to perfect their moves ready for the big performance - even our audience takes part in a few dance moves when it's showtime!
Mr Price works diligently with the children to learn the songs and hone the children's singing voices, to blow the roof off the theatre!
With either the use of artwork or computing we develop a backdrop for the stage and our teaching assistant textiles department are very busy with their needles and threads on the build up to the show. The oldest children often help produce costume items and props for the production.
Over the years, we have covered a variety of themes for the production and they are always captured by a professional photographer and videographer so everyone can relive the moment when they wish. Take a look in our school library area to see photo montages of our previous shows; you will also find a selection here on our website.
