Miss McIntyre's Class
Ola! This week we travelled to Brazil. We talked about the Amazon Rainforest, matched animals to their habitat and the adult to their young, looked at non-fiction books, painted leaves, created wax crayon rubbings of leaves, made masks for the Rio Carnival, used instruments to make rain forests sounds and then created our own rainmakers, did an experiment using skittles and watched the colours travel on the plate, made a rain cloud using shaving foam and food colouring and designed posters to say why we need to protect the rain forest.
