Miss McIntyre's Class

G'day! This week we went to Australia! We learnt about aboriginal art and created our own, shared non-fiction books, made boomerangs, painted with corks, made egg carton sharks, made koala masks, created paper and foam sharks, cut out and decorated spiral snakes and made the Sydney Opera House using paper plates and puffy paint! We also learnt about Amy Johnson, a British pilot, who flew to Australia on her own and was the first woman in history to do so!
