    We all enjoyed dressing as a favourite book character as well as sharing our love of books with each other.
  • General Election

    To support our understanding of the British Value 'Democracy', we held our very general election. All of KS2 discussed the manifestos of the four candidates standing in the Wyre Forest and then we voted.

     

    It was close but the 'Green Party' were our winners!

     

  • Pictures from our recent 'festivals' competition

    During this half term, as a school, we have celebrated the Christian festival of Harvest. Children will have also been learning about some festivals and celebrations that other religions have, as part of their RE lessons. Recently the Jewish have celebrated Sukkot, and Hindu’s ,and Sikh’s are about to celebrate Diwali. As part of our whole school awareness of other world religions we invited the children to look a little further into one of these festivals, and create some artwork based on it, during the half term break.
     
  • Christmas Shore box appeal

    We have again participated in creating Christmas shoeboxes to support children less fortunate than ourselves. We donated toys, gifts, toiletries and warm clothing and collect all of these!
  • Harvest Festival 2019

    We enjoyed celebrating our Harvest Festivals with poems, readings and hymns. Thank you to St Chad's church who hosted our Key Stage Two children.
  • What a Year

    We can hardly believe another year has passed us by. Our children have enjoyed participating in a range of learning experiences and I'm sure will  have many happy memories to take into their summer break!
  • Mayoral Visit

    This week, we were lucky enough to be visited by Kidderminster Mayor -Councillor Martin Stooke. He joined us for our assemblies and shared how he had become the Mayor and what 'jobs' he has to do in this role!
  • Netball Champions

    After four weeks of competition, playing matches against other local schools (18 in total) our girls netball team were victorious! They have become the champions of the Wyre Forest Primary Netball League.
  • Science Week 2019
