July 2026 Outcomes
It has been another great year for our children who have all made excellent progress. Our children in the Early Years have secured strong foundations on which to build, having come in with very low starting points. Our phonics outcomes remain high, and we are especially proud that 100% of our pupils who retook their phonics screening test this year have now passed, which puts them in an excellent position going into Key stage 2. Following a focus on times tables, our outcomes for the year 4 MTC check have significantly improved. Key Stage 2 outcomes in Reading, Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar remain above the National average and, individually, every child continues to make good progress year on year.

July 2025 Outcomes
We continue to be very proud of our strong progress and outcomes across the school at all statutory assessment points. Our outcomes in Early Years and Phonics show a year-on-year increase and demonstrate the excellent start to school that children get at Comberton. Our Phonics outcomes this year are significantly above the national average and set children up to be successful readers.
Our Key Stage One outcomes are below the national average due to the very high level of complex Special Educational Needs within that particular cohort. Children have made excellent progress from their starting points.
End of Key Stage 2 outcomes are above the national average for the academic year 2024-25 which builds upon our strong historic outcomes and demonstrates the excellent progress our children make over time from their starting points.

July 2024 Outcomes
We are very proud of our strong progress and outcomes across the school at all statutory assessment points. Outcomes in Early Years and Year 1 Phonics Screening lie just below the National average this year which is linked to the high proportion of pupils with SEND.
End of Key Stage 2 outcomes are all significantly above the National average for the academic year 2023-24 which builds upon our strong historic outcomes and demonstrates the excellent progress our children make over time from their starting points.
