Our policy for children’s school uniform is based on the belief that a school uniform: promotes a sense of pride in the school; encourages a feeling of community and belonging; is practical and smart; identifies the children with the school; is not distracting in class; and makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance.
The school uniform consists of:-
Boys
White shirt with school tie (all children wearing a shirt should wear a tie)
White polo shirt
Grey trousers or Grey Shorts
Royal blue sweatshirt with school logo (crew neck or v-neck)
Girls
White blouse or shirt with school tie (all children wearing a shirt should wear a tie)
White polo shirt
Grey pinafore dress, skirt or trousers
Royal blue sweatshirt with school logo (crew neck, v-neck or cardigan)
Summer
Shoes
These need to be sensible black ‘school shoes’ without a ‘high’ heel. Boots (especially up to the knee) are inappropriate and can lead to accidents whilst the children are running around at playtime.
We also request that jewellery is restricted to a watch and stud earrings and no bracelets, necklaces, nail polish or transfer tattoos are worn.
P.E.
Black shorts
Black leggings/biking shorts
Black plain leotard
White tee-shirt round neck
Trainers (outdoor) and black velcro fastening pumps (indoors)
Royal blue or red fleece (School Shop)
Black or Navy joggers (School Shop or elsewhere)
ALL CLOTHES SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME
